The first time my own family had to explore senior living for a loved one, I was sitting exactly where you may be today. We didn't know where to begin. We didn't know what questions to ask, what the different care options meant, how communities differed from one another, or how to know if we were making the best decision for someone we loved. Like so many families, we simply wanted to do the right thing, but we didn't know what we didn't know. Looking back, I often think, "I wish I knew then what I know now."

That experience changed the direction of my life and ultimately led me to a career in senior living. Since then, I've served in Director roles within senior living communities, helping residents and families navigate some of life's most important and emotional decisions. I've experienced both sides of the table. I know what it feels like to be the family searching for answers, and I know what happens behind the scenes inside Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and other senior living communities. This unique perspective allows me to help you and your family in ways others simply can't.

Most people think choosing a senior living community is simply a matter of finding a beautiful senior living community and comparing monthly rents. In reality, that's only a small part of the decision. Understanding levels of care, medication management, contracts, care costs, future healthcare needs, available services, amenities, and what happens if your loved one's care needs change can dramatically impact both quality of life and long-term costs. These are the conversations I wish my own family had been able to have before we began our search, and they're the conversations I now have with the families I serve every day.
